It’s been 10 years since that fateful day, we have listened to countless songs, seen beautiful art, laughed at silly jokes and cried tears of hope. This zine and album project celebrates the people who define this Vocaloid forever - those who are strong to express, those who are courageous to connect and those who enjoy creating with their own hands. This year, on the 10th birthday and anniversary of the Vocaloid that brought this community together, let’s celebrate our past, present and future journeys with Fukase!
VOCALOID4 Library Fukase is a masculine voicebank voiced by Satoshi Fukase (from the band SEKAI NO OWARI) and developed/distributed by the YAMAHA Corporation alongside Lastrum Music Entertainment and TOKYO FANTASY Inc. Made for the voice synthesiser software VOCALOID4, he has 3 voicebanks named Normal, Soft and English, the former two are Japanese banks. To decide his design, a Pixiv contest was held with the comical theme of "What if SEKAI NO OWARI vocalist Fukase became a Vocaloid?". It ran from 4 to 31 August 2015, with the illustrator mikuma being the winner. The current design is the final modified version of mikuma's winning illustration, the Fukase design we know and love today. Fukase was released on 28 January 2016.
